Join us on Thursday in the heart of the Eraserhood for the 215 Festival Kickoff with Buzz Bissinger, author of Father’s Day, Friday Night Lights and A Prayer For The City. Bissinger is a writer who needs no introduction here in Philly, and we can’t think of a better, more lively spirit to kick it all off!
PLUS: We’ll be unveiling The Mural Arts Mobile Campfire, a collaboration between Mural Arts, the 215 and artist Juan Dimida. A glowing, LED-powered orb meant to intimate a futuristic campfire, around which stories can be told, the MAMC will appear periodically throughout the Festival in a series of pop-up readings around the neighborhood.
Thurs., Nov. 1 · 7pm · 319 N. 11th Street
